Meet Roxy

With my Sun in Scorpio in the fourth house and my Moon in Cancer, I feel a deep calling to help people create healing, transformative, and empowering spaces. Reborn was born from my desire to guide others in shaping their ideal home. My vision of a dream home is a place that reflects the essence of its inhabitants and provides a haven of tranquillity. It's a place where you can be entirely yourself, recharge, and be inspired to bring out your best.

As an astrologer, I understand that everyone is unique, with their own needs and personal life path. As an interior designer, I notice that many people struggle with decorating their home, often because they are influenced by the opinions of parents, society, or what they think 'should' be.

This causes them to lose sight of what they need to feel at home. By not knowing who you are, you follow trends and make choices that don't suit you, and your home does not reflect who you are. Everything is energy, and we influence our environment just as it influences us. This is a powerful mirror of the universe. Looking around, you see that your home reflects your energy and vice versa.

Born in November 1984 in Amsterdam into a creative family with a fashion designer father and an entrepreneurial mother, I was imbued with style, creativity, and taste. However, creating a safe and comfortable home was not their strong suit. Our home reflected where they were in life but hindered them in realising their dreams and happiness.

From a young age, I was susceptible to the energy of spaces and aware of how my surroundings reflected my feelings. My room was my sanctuary. When I was twelve, and my father left the house, I took over the decoration and household, which gave my mother and me a wonderful time together. Unfortunately, this was short-lived; my mother became ill and passed away when I was eighteen.

The only positive was that I got my apartment in Amsterdam at eighteen, a minor miracle considering the housing shortage. This was my safe place despite the grief, loss, and debts. I might not have had many resources to decorate it as I wanted, but it was my pride: tidy, clean, and organised.

When I was twenty and entered a relationship with Daniel, I wanted to be just a housewife. But soon, I realised this did not fulfil my expectations. Deep down, I had long known that my passion lies in decorating homes and creating places that make you happy. This goes beyond tidying up and cleaning; it's in a space's beauty, colour, fragrance, and energy flow.
